i am grateful

for being flexible enough

to see things i'd have missed

were i not.

i am grateful

for someone who tries so hard

to appear unfeeling

and untrusting

and uncaring

but who sometimes fails

in his efforts.

because today

as they drove away

the three boyz

in their new car

i saw the joy that oozed from every pore

of all of their beautiful bodies

as they rode off

to be.

today

i am assured

that miracles happen....

every single day.
