it feels SO good!

As I mentioned in the last post...just making a decision can be oh-so-wonderful. AND...when that decision is made from what I call "my groove spot", it's even more fun. After writing that post, I had quite a few folks write me and ask for the "after" pic. While I don't normally post pics of meself (yes, I spelled it that way on purpose), I've decided to post these for those lovely ladies who were 'inspired' by my moxie. I gotta tell ya...it really DOES feel good to make drastic changes, even when they're only 'superficial' (as in 'vanity'....). I've come to understand that there is NOTHING wrong with wanting to look in the mirror and actually LIKE what you see. I was given eyes to enjoy all the many splendors of this beautiful world. And if that includes ME, what's wrong with that? I've never really considered myself especially "beautiful" in terms of physical presence, but I HAVE always appreciated what gifts I've been given. I look a lot like my mom, and I always thought she was pretty. Why then did I not consider myself pretty?

Lessons learned and largely appreciated at this point. I may not be Hollywood, but I'm blessed. And so, for all of you who asked to see the "after" pic, here ya go:
