look around less. imagine more.

This morning's message from Abraham was one of those that gave me a little 'zing' when I read it. Not because I haven't heard this before, or that it's any kind of 'new thing', but because it was aptly timed for something I'd been speaking about lately. Just the other day, while visiting with a friend, we had a chat about this very thing. And then...again with another friend who phoned from far, far away. It just keeps coming up, so I figure it's something that outta be shared. It reads:

"Is Abraham saying that you could reach what you consider to be a prime human physical condition and that you could maintain it for as long as you remain physically focused in this body? The answer is, absolutely yes. And it doesn't mean reach your prime and then jump off a cliff the same day, either. It means, reach your prime and bask in the deliciousness of that. Now, why is other than that the more consistent experience? Because most everybody is looking around and vibrating in response to what they are seeing. So, what is the solution? Look around less. Imagine more. Look around less. Imagine more. Until your imagery is the most familiar vibration that you have."

Not surprisingly, I also wrote a little piece just a bit ago about "make believe". In this piece I was nudging folks to do it...to play 'make believe'. Because there is great power in this, just as Abraham is suggesting here. Just look at the words:

M-A-K-E B-E-L-I-E-V-E.

What is a belief anyway? Isn't it just a thought we have over and over again, until we BELIEVE it? Think about that. Pick any belief you have right now in your life, and ask yourself where it came from? How did you come to believe it? Was it something someone else imposed or something you learned along the way or something you just felt, intuitively, that settled in your core and stayed there?

Playing 'make believe' is an incredibly powerful way to make a belief a reality. Because, as good ol' Abe is saying here, "look around less. imagine more." All they're saying is, if you keep looking at what 'is', nothing will ever change. You must SEE IT, FEEL IT, VIBRATE IT if you are to EXPERIENCE IT...regardless of what IT is.

Besides...playing Make Believe is sooooooo much fun!
