Delay is NOT Denial!

Most of us have moments when we just can't seem to get past the doubt. We set our sights on some lofty dream, and then get to work on making it happen. We try...and try...and hope and pray...(and beg and plead?)and after a while, we think, "crap. this isn't going to work. what's the point?"

I'm guessing this isn't unfamiliar. I'm also guessing that there are those who actually do give up. They toss aside that dream and move on to some other challenge. They tell themselves it was dumb to even think it possible, let alone attain said dream. But I have a different perspective on all this. I believe that we wouldn't even think up a dream if it weren't possible. But that's me.

So....here's something to think about:

Delay is NOT denial.

Read that again.

(did ya re-read it?)

DELAY IS NOT DENIAL.

In other words, sometimes the reason for the delay is you need to gather up some thing in order to move forward. Another lesson. Another tool. Another perspective. Another little nugget that you'll need when you're a bit further down the road. And if you were to keep this in mind as you hit those rough spells of doubt and frustration, you'd likely NOT give up your dream. You'd likely take a moment to remind yourself that everything is unfolding precisely as it should and you're one step closer to that dream. The old adage of "if at first you don't succeed, try, try again" could be modified to "if at first you don't succeed, it just means you're getting closer!"

All I'm saying is DON'T GIVE UP! Don't think any dream is impossible. You wouldn't have it if it were. Dreams are your True Self talking to you. They are the reason you're here. Dreams are the Life Force of Spirit...and Spirit never fails.

Never.

If there is a god, do you think It has limitations? Do you think It worries and frets and doubts? Do you really think that this god could ever fail?

You are It and It is you. There isn't anything you can't accomplish or experience or create...so long as you don't quit. That is the only failure...and I know you've heard that enough times to know it's true. So the next time you're thinking about throwing in the towel, STOP. Think about what you really want and WHY. And then...take another moment to remind yourself:

DELAY IS NOT DENIAL!
