harmony

did you know that's how it's defined? music aside, harmony means tranquility? didn't know that. well...that's not exactly true. i just didn't know it was defined that way. but that's not the point. i've been noticing how easy things have been around here lately. and i know precisely when they began being 'easy'. it was the day i offered up an apology & a clear explanation of some stuff i'd come to 'see'. i was being pretty critical, & had lots of resentment going on. as it turned out, it had nothing to do with him, but he was getting the brunt of it...just cuz he lives here. poor guy.

so, i stepped up & fessed up...& since then, it's been a slice. i mean, there's really nothing to sweat, right? we have this great setup..lots of privacy...and neither of us is looking for confrontation. so why would there be any reason to mess with that? of course, the answer is obvious. so how come i clouded it all up for all that time?

who cares.

bottom line is that harmony can be reached with one simple practice:
just let 'em be.
let people be who they are.
no criticism
no judgment
no trying to change 'em.

just let 'em BE.

sheeeeeeeesh. who knew?
