the shift

can you feel it?
can you sense the shift that's happening now?
all around me, those i love are experiencing this enormous change
me too.
it's as subtle as it is profound
some are freakin' out
others are merely aware and allowing
me?
i'm doin' my best to groove along
telling those fearful voices to take a hike
what need i fear?
haven't i always had what i need?
haven't i always eaten and bathed and slept in a warm bed?
my critters are fed and well
and so am i.
so what need i fear?
NO THING.
not a single thing needs to scare me
cuz i'm wrapped in the arms of Love.
and so are you.
T-R-U-S-T.
that's all it takes.
and a little giggle here and there too.
cuz if you can't laugh
